Happens that I bought a "faulty" Cube3 from a guy on FB that was complaining his printer wasnt able to heat up.

Bought it, had it shipped and yes, he's right. Tried an alternate PSU from another Cube3 and it works...flawlesly! ;)

So I googled replacement PSUs for the Cube3 and funny enough, the PSU 3DS sells for $79 can be bought for $15.

The SAME EXACT MODEL! lol

I'm pretty sure we can find it even cheaper somewhere!

Anyone?

Ps. Note the "importer" of these:

Yes! I bought three of these for printers that I bought without power supplies. The staff at MPJ & Associates is incredibly helpful, and they were very kind over the phone. I haven't found any other versions of it elsewhere, though. For the price (in comparison to 3D Systems...) I was pretty happy.

I just noticed that T24 extruder errors were related to a faulty PSU too, so if you're getting them "more or less" constantly, may be a good try to replace the PSU with a brand new one. It just happened to me.

Yeah I had an issue with one of my cube3s and with a bit of research, I found these guys. http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/mango240-0500ayadptdc24v5a.aspx I can't believe 3D systems is charging that much for what is probably $7 part.. Oh wait maybe I can.
