Alright Eora recipients... let's keep up with what their development is up to here.
I got the hardware yesterday and haven't even opened the box yet.

Things to post is Configurations; S/W; Hardware; Pro's and Con's; and Successes and Failures.

I really want this thing to do small objects reliably at 100um resolution. What will it take?

Finally unboxed my silver Eora scanner and turntable.

Well, that was exiting :|

1st impression:
Don't put your turntable on a surface you like.
There are two screws that are protruding through the floor.
Can you say OOPS!

Still need a qualified CPU. I haven't seen anything on SW performance yet, or if they even have anything working on Android.

Aha... not even turntable ready...
