Yeah i definitly want to try :) I did not know that Astroprint was free!
I'll do some research to see what i can gain form using Astroprint. I really like how easy Octoprint can be customized though, i have plans to make the printers on/off controllable via Octoprint. Thats something i dont think Astroprint can manage. But one thing i do like is the mobile interface for Astroprint :) I hope that they support webcam for the mobile interface - that would make me switch instantly :)

Just got it! I havent had time to even "burn" the ISO on the SD yet haha

Im still not sure if im taking it inside the printer case or outside using an external case, we'll see... time will tell.

I'm also so new to the RBPi world that i had to study a few wikis first :D

I guess i'll play around the cased version first and once everything runs smooth (and some others do some tutorials :P) i'll take it inside, it's so cheap and powerful i'll consider buying another one to take advantage of the case lol

Installed AstroBox on the Pi tonight - totally impressed with the UI. But i was sad to find out that my Raspberry Pi Camera was not supported - so this means that I am reverting back to Octoprint :)

Or just email Astrobox to add support to the webcam module :D

They have said in a FAQ that the module will be supported - but i need it now :) But i like the flexibility Of Octoprint, i have no trouble switching back:)

besides the webcam support, can u do a pro/con comparisson on each? or just the interface is what changes?
