So what is your experience with Palette?
Im planning on buying one but I cannot understand how does it understand what the printer is currently doing and when to change the color? Does it connect to the printer itself with a USB cable for communication? :)

No, its all based on algorythms. You "calibrate" the distance between the palette and the printer thru a "scrolling wheel" that does have a "filament feed counter" embeded which comunicates with the Palette.

I'm selling mine if interested. Brand new, never set up, as I didnt have time to.
