Well, that is an interesting notion. There is no installer, just a zip file containing the executables and support libraries (DLLs). You just have to extract it to a known location, I put mine on the desktop on my test machine, then I run "Cube3Editor.exe".
Typical use case steps:
- Open STL or CUBE3 file in Cube Print
- Save the file using the offline Ekocycle Printer
- Open the saved file in Cube3Editor
- Modify the file:
- Change Printer type to Cube3 (it will initially say Ekocycle)
- Change Filament type on the print head you are using from EKO to PLA or ABS (whatever is configured for the cartridge)
- Change Filament color to match the color of the cartridge
- Change temperatures to match the filament type
- Change Extrusion rate (if desired)
- Change Retraction rate (if desired)
- Edit the BFB directly (if desired)
- Click Generate Cube3 and a new file will be created with "_MOD" added to the name.
- Open the cube3 file with "_MOD" in the name in Cube Print
- Print the file.
I can add pictures if you need.
