Nope, the RPi is connected to the Morpheus LCD via HDMI and to the Morpheus Arduino via USB. That's it. NanoDLP site is then accessed from your local network.
Still haven't decided on the exact location of the RPi inside the printer (as HDMI will need to exit somehow)... which is why my RPi is still running outside the printer for now. As for the RPi...
1. Once the RPi is connected to your router (over ethernet/wifi), then you can use a browser on any device (laptop, smartphone, tablet,...) on your local network to controle nanoDLP.
2. The IP can...
Indeed, the calibration patterns are expected to be shown on the Morpheus screen. But, it's VERY hard to notice when the Morpheus UV light is off, hence try the GCode command "M106" in the terminal...
My meshmixer is still on the default replicator2 platform. I don't recall having to set any specific settings.
Sorry mate, I don't see any free time soon or spare material to put the installation on video.
In the current latest build version (1165), nanoDLP doesn't generate support. Better use meshmixer for support.
Otherwise, suggest it to shanon of nanoDLP on his forum ;)
Nope, you can simply copy the GCode mentioned in the first post, and past in a "print profile".
You load by adding a "plate", and selecting the "profile". As of nanoDLP build 1165, also STL...
@acnow, no ip configuration is needed on your router for nanoDLP. As long as dhcp assigns any ip to your RPi (wired/wireless).
From my end, I'm still in backorder waiting for FTD resin... not that I would've found much time to print though.
My last print, with the last bit of leftover resin, were the vatholders (see the...
Congrats acnow for making it this far.
To be sure I understand your post, you've been able to deploy the RPi image on the SD Card, boot up the RPi and accessed it with putty over ethernet cable to...
If anyone else is up for a videochat later today, PM me your email so I can send the link of the hangout.
Hmm, Slack looks like an text messaging only. Or am I wrong? Can it also do videoconferencing like Hangouts?
Fine by me. @sukhvir, are you okay with it to use your channel?
So it's seemingly decided then, we'll meet online next Tuesday May 3rd at 9:30PM CEST / 8:30PM BST / 3:30PM EDT.
We'll even have a guest star : SJ from TOW said he'll be joining us
PM me...
Print it with the Morpheus then :D
Your personal copy with smaller teeth is here ;)
Some programs (like nanoDLP as of current build 1140, but not CW of course) allow to less cure the solid inner areas of a print... to keep strength, increase membrane life time and prevent...
The export feature on Onshape allows different formats, but the part(s) need to be selected first. Uploaded STL to Thingiverse and updated post to ease the pain ;)
Anyone interested in meeting up online (over Google Hangouts) to have an open chat about our experiences with the Mark IV ?
Maybe we could even ask TOW to join ;)
As I have no clue about the...
To avoid the bolt remaining inplace when unscrewing the build plate... another "mod" to the Morpheus: it definitely needs a washer between the build plate fixture :

To avoid vat lifting, I've added a few printable holders to keep the vat in place, download/fork on Onshape from here or on Thingiverse from here :

I must admit the parts are hard to keep...
Very good idea @sukhvir. Note the vat should be heavy enough, or somehow fixed, to avoid the print sticking to the membrane and lifting the vat ;)
Indeed stil a bit of a hassle to print something, even on FDM. Can't wait till the time comes when you can simply flip it on and your cleaned print comes out instantly :D
Haven't had the chance to print yet. Soon I hope ;)
