You can use the older chips to go to newer versions but it does not support older printer. You could try contacting Tomuro to see if he can compile the code to work with yours.

The firmware V2.0 never worked right. Also, V1.0 has shown to be problematic with CubePro. I might suggest ReCube: http://www.print3dforum.com/showthread.php/1712-Building-Tomuro-s-Circuit
Velocities are managed by the recipes in your slicer. I don't know their software.
LOL yea, that is kind of how these systems work. Your original description sounded line an insufficient heat problem.
You need to slap a header and footer on there for cubepro. Then encode the file for sending to the printer. I'm sure buddybu's wonderful cube3editor will make that simpler along with some other...
You have to send the print file generated by the CubePro.exe program.
We have a few people familiar with Simplify3D. I am not one of them. Basically it is a stand alone application that generates files that are put through a converter to make files compatible with...
Simplify3D replaces the Cubify slicers. It generates files that are compatible with the CubePro platform. Simplify3D doesn't have a good interface for Cube3.
Also consider the 'recharge' option with ReCube if you want to show off your sparky skills to your kids;

I love the use of ShoeGoo where most people use RTV. ShoeGoo cleans up easily and has an excellent hold.
When I found the borosilicate glass, 170mm square, I bought 6 N52 3/4" diameter and 1/8"...
If you are talking about the glass one, I don't know that I can get to it ATM.
Build plate -surface- @mohan Nice work on the ReCube. And who says we cannot replace the surface? I've used a borosilicate glass plate with LokBuild. ShoeGoo some magnets on there and you have a...
I've never had luck with glue sticks. I went to LokBuild and CubeGlue. Unfortunately CubeGlue is a thing of the past.
There is no shortage of claims of functional adhesives though. I might...
Not a big deal. A few more specification and I could whip that out for you as a model. Specific angles desired, number of facets, size, etc.

Was the code the last 4 digits of the serial number?
Don't you have a 3D printer to keep you warm?
Worth a shot.
Aha... could it be a cable or bowden tube retainer that snaps onto the extrusion? If so, there may be a little interference in the left side of the clamp in the picture.
Haven't tried it but it sounds similar to the water soluble PVA so it should work nicely.
LOL yea, that is where John came in and saved our bacon with the Cube3Editor. That is a huge help with our print files.
What you are looking for is a way to interrupt and pause the slicer...
Ah, the values coded in the DLL files. Like: read the DLL - revise the values of the DLL variables in memory - then run the slicer script using these new values.
You run the batch file in Windows. You do not use Arduino IDE.

No clue. I suspect it is unrelated.
