My issue was missing cable on the inside.

Might be a good idea to contact seller before you open the printer to check though.

I am 99% certain that the printer interface just doesn't read the gcode for pausing or anything else.
As I said I managed to do it with OctoPi (OctoPrint or whatever the raspberry P's interface...
I had a small success. So far I was using the printer's own interface to start the prints (was easier for my tests)
I switching to loading the gcodes though OctoPi and managed to pause it correctly....
The I can freely pause the printer from the button on the touch screen.
I will try loading the gcode through the OctoPi and see what happens.
