Polysmooth filament doesn’t like water, changes color

    Hi,

I put a polished 3d printed part in a glass of cold water and it loses/changes color.
The filament is black but changes to mid grey in water.

    regards,
    bjorn

    now that's quite interesting!

I knew the polishing affected the structure....but the color!? thats quite weird!

did both of your nebulizers work fine?

the first one worked so didn't try the 2th

it can be me but i have the idea that i can also smell a light alcohol odor when the polished sample is in the water as if the alcohol absorbed by the part some way get released...
i'm not a chemist so no idea what is happening, up to polysmooth to find out...

Bottom line, its not water proof, don't use it outdoor or in the bathroom ;-)
