    Heating filamente CUBE 2nd

    Hi Guys.
Does anyone knows what kind of filament is used to heat the nozzle of the CUBE 3D second generation?
Mine has burned, and I need to replace it.

    Thanks!

Welcome to the forum canian123. I do not know the answer but hopefully someone with a Cube2 will help with your issue.

Hi Canian123, I have a Cube 2nd Generation, but my board died, so I did a complete rework of my cube. I call it my Frankencube. I am still using all of the motors, but I replaced the main board with an SKR v1.4 with TMC2209 stepper motors. I then used this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2839509 item to replace the hotend with an E3D v6 clone. I don't have pictures of the process as it was more of an organic situation. It started with replacing the motherboard and keeping everything else in place. Then the hot end died, so I had to rebuild that. Finally, I cleaned up the wiring to make it cleaner. it now prints great using Marlin firmware.

I just love how quiet it is. You can only hear the fans in the videos I posted.... It almost makes me want to convert the Ekocycle/Cube3 to a FrankenCube...
