Taking the bed panels off is very easy. (Sorry for no pics, didn't think it'd be worth my time):
- lay the printer on its side, cartridge side down (this is because the bed prevents the printer laying flat on its front or back side)
- Unscrew the four screws on the underside of the bed. These hold the dark gray panel, so that should just fall off.
- Inside there are three other screws that hold the top panel. Unscrew those, and voila, you're done!
also I put new plastic feet on it from the dollar store, put like 10 of then on it and I think it reduces vibration a bit more.
