CR-10 wrong homing position and limit stops not working

hi, the printer is homing at the centre of the right hand edge and not the top left hand corner as it should. also the limit switches do not work. this is a new build and I have checked the connections are ok. is there some software I need to set home position and turn on the switches. if so what is it and how do I get it. or is the machine made wrongly from the factory. thanks, terry

Nothing must be performed "software side" aside from slicing and hitting print. Something else on the hardware may be wrong. Perhaps loose connections on the board, have you checked? Either way. contact your vendor.

Thanks that is what I thought. Is there a way to check if this is a real CR-10 or not just a copy. the quality of this printer is very poor. I am sending back to seller as I don't like it at all.
