Anatomy of a 3D Printed Screw Thread

I wanted to share this little tit-bit with my fellow designers.

I am working on a large scale thread on a spool flange for winding stock 3DS spools.
My 1st print used a 2" 5 TPI thread which just feels excellent.

This is a similar template I am using the B2B nozzles as well.

Those of you that have ever worked with parametric modelers such as Solidworks will likely recognize the codes, but in general, notice just how scaleable this template is. Two values are required; pitch (the 1" dim in the template) and a diameter.

Do your worst with this information.
