    Lightbulb New 3D Scanner on Kickstarter

    Hi 3D Printer / Scanner enthusiasts.

    Can you also post pictures of the MESHES of such scans?

    Mesh pics as requested
    These are points reduced scans as there is a limit to what you can print
    the raw scanner output is much higher resolution

    It looks very promising and tempting.

    Can you give some details on the type of acrylic required to cut the pieces?

    I may go for the DIY version of the kit

    We use 5mm Black 9T30 Perspex as this is matt on one side and reduces reflections
    however you could use anything you have to hand, it don't need to be acrylic. might be best to spray
    all surfaces inside with matt black paint to be safe.
