I hope I am in the right place to make this request urgently. I have two pro duo and mono cube with firmware 2.02, latest version of 3ds, can not install version 2.00 hacked via toolbox on version 2.02. or then I find the original 2.00 version of 3ds in order to install the hacked version 2.00. Thanks for considering my post i am in big shit Mr. Bravo for your job, i would be sharing in the future my printing experience with the print3dforum community

Je posséde deux cube pro duo et mono avec un firmware 2.02, dernière version de 3ds, impossible d’installer la version 2.00 piraté via toolbox sur la version 2.02. ou puis je trouver la version original 2.00 de 3ds afin d’installer la version piraté 2.00. Merci de prendre en compte mon post je suis dans la merde grand M. Bravo pour votre boulot, je partagerais à l’avenir mon expérience d’impression avec la communauté de print3dforum

There are some tricks to forcing the firmware onto your CubePro printers.
I have not done this so please understand I am repeating what other people have said.

1: start the firmware update on the current version 2.02 with legit firmware. Once the firmware starts to update, replace the USB key with the hacked 2.00 FW with the same name as the 2.02 legit firmware. With luck (and probably a few attempts) the machine will continue to install the modified firmware after you replaced the file.

I am currently new owner of a cubepro mono.
I would like to know the advantage of this firmware.

I read that the cartridges were no longer in production. Is this firmware a bypass and in this case should I have to use original cartridges depending on the material used ? thank you for your answers I am new to the subject but I learn quickly

For now I able to print a yxz cube its a good start xD

Welcome to the forum Darkzero. For CubePro, one downgrades to v2.00. There is also a report that the chamber heater stops working. And if that is okay, there is a trick to actually loading the F/W. Oh, and cartridges have to be under 100% (initialized).

For CubePro users, I highly recommend the ReCube alternative if you have the skills to fabricate such a thing. This simply resets cartridges without messing with the machine.

Do you know if it possible to load the offical 2.0 firmware over the hacked firmware

I have only one cartridge for now in pla and I will have to buy other so Im agree with you recube is better in this case

Yes, you can install factory F/W on top of modified F/W. Current CubePro version is v2.02. If you have trouble finding the original F/W, let me know. This is the the link from the repository site: http://cubify.s3.amazonaws.com/Print...pro%20V2.02.ar Download and install via USB drive.

In this case I will upgrade to the official version and downgrade if necessary using the technique indicated above.

There's a CubeX cart in PLA purple for $19.99 shipped in the USA on eBay (not my auction).
Filament is probably bad but it has everything else you need.

A quick note on downgrading to the hacked F/W. It is a dance. You start the install of legit code; pause that and replace the USB drive with the hacked code. It has limited success where persistence is a key factor.
