    Weirdest way of printing ABS?

OK this is new to me!?

So when you choose ABS as printing material, granted this printer has no heated bed platform to rely on when printing ABS, the basterd does the following:

    1) Prints the first 5 layers goddamn fast (so the ABS is still hot when it reaches layer#6)
    2) Prints the rest of layers goddamn slow, layer per layer, moving the head away from the print and pausing a few seconds (like 3 or so) before returning and starting over...

    WTF?!

Like if this MASSIVE printer head (extruders+fans+motors combo) wasnt generating air when moving back n forth hah!

Of course my prints are curling bc it's winter and Im not using the cube glue, just hairspray, and not yet using any other building "surface" but the default bed.

I guess I'll have to buildtak/lokbuild it soon...

You could be hitting that "minimum layer time"... that is what normally moves the bed out to cool the part.

I'll indeed try a bigger print, I just wanted to see how a calibration cube looks like in a CubePro lol
