First order of business... remove the stock CubePro carts!

Already had the stylized Cube3 spool holder.
Seems a harbinger for things that came to be

Okay, spool holder leveled. Too much work but nice to have it not leaning toward the build plate.

Learned something about the slicer... what is 200um in Cube3 world appears to be 300um in CubePro world.
At 300um, it is technical but it is not nearly so prone to artifacts. Can't wait to see what 70um does!

300um turned 135 degrees. It draped the first roof layer but corrected quickly. Also had a strange 'squirt' happened. What's that about! I'd suggest facing Benchy to the southeast instead and see what happens. I have to get use to a new seam location on these prints. It is off to the NE. Made a mess of one of Benchy's bows.

Blue tape w/diluted CubeGlue. Sidewalk 5mm no frillies at 0.30mm offset. Try out that fine detail checkbox too.

I am really impressed with the quality of the stovepipe. This slicer is a lot more precise in making holes.

Chamber floor got up to 42*C. That's pretty impressive. The plate was heat-soaked which really helped.

Bottom line, this preheating the chamber and hardware really does help.
Ultimate annealing is certainly recommended if you want a stable ABS print.

What size is that benchy? 100%?

Here's my 200% one. Besides the few overhangs here and there, im quite satisfied with the layer depositions, the quality is quite cool, although it took quite good 6h to print it :/ but the finish specially on the top layers is very good!

Excellent! What options did you print that with? 3D Benchy wants to be turned either 90 or 180 degrees to move that seam.

I think it was 200micron and just the rest standard settings, not sure if I finally turned on diamond shape hmmm...

You can really see how they cherry picked everything to do with Cube3 from these Pro platforms.

I did go and reload CubePro 1.87 on my Windows 7 machine. I think I was tripping over files in the dual load of both versions.
Now I have 2.02 on Windows 10 and 1.87 on Windows 7.

Why? because I can take apart 1.87. 2.02 has a readable header if you just want information about the print.

There's a 2.02 version of the app just for W10? Wasnt the printer discontinued way before W10?

Oh no, 2.02 works in Win7 too. I just have two computers to have both apps available.

THeres a big gap between version numbers 1.87 vs 2.02 whats so different?

Solid.

I tested all the old version to see where the decoder/encoder files continued to work.
The only thing missing is 1.9 to get to 2.02.
I think 1.9x added incompatible images.
