Nozzle temperature issue? Heating to 200 then clears to 0 on LCD
I have a wierd issue. I had 5 cr10 printers all start having the same issue yesterday. It was raining outside and could have been a power surge. They all will heat up to 200 or whatever the print file is programmed to print at and right when it reached 200 or the pre designated preheating temp the LCD nozzle temp clears to 0 and the hot end cools down. The printer never gets to the point of initating the print. Anyone ever seen this happen before. I have 11 cr10's but these 5 are on the same circuit and I'm afraid a power surge may have created an issue with the mother board.

Consider reloading the F/W on one of the failed units and see if that brings it back to life.

Good idea. What kind of isp programming cable do you use on the CR10 motherboard? Isnt like a usb icsp pramming cable 6 pin? I see the firmware download is up on the creality site.

Oh now you got me. I don't know how Creality F/W is updated or reinstalled. I would think it is a routine that is initiated with a file on a memory card.

I found it. Its a 6 pic chip on the motherboard. Same chip on the board you would use to install a bootloader. I have a icsp micro programmer usb cable I'll use. Motherboard issues scare me. I had to replace 2 lcd input screens already because the input knobs got stuck. Newer machines too.

They scare me too
Odd way to update a F/W though.
