    The first question I must ask, did you load an existing CUBE3 or CUBEPRO file?

    FileOpen.png

    Then you will be presented with a dialog to allow you to navigate to your Cube3 or CubePro files

    SelectAFile.png

    Select your file, then click Open. The file will be loaded into the editor and you can make your changes

    I was getting to that First we need to know what kind of file we will be generating. And what chip is on the cartridge, and so on.

    ...is there a side preference. Single or dual color ...or wash away support.

    CubePro requires an old CubePro slicer, v1.87. Newer versions cannot be modified.
    https://cubify.s3.amazonaws.com/Prin...bepro_1.87.exe
    This is a downgrade for sure.

    You can run PLA without temperature changes on CubePro v2.02.
    To make temperature changes to PLA files, you need v1.87.

    Once you have v1.87 installed, please tell which chips you have in cartridges.

    For reference;
    PETG will need reduce temperatures by about 15 degrees from ABS print files.
    3rd party ABS is about 10 degrees less temperature from the ABS print file settings.
    This is a starting point.

    Buddybu will walk you through the rest when you have this all ready to try out as we post.

    You have good tools

    Remember this one thing - the material the file calls for has to match the chip. You will be running the CubePro setup with ABS for the part and PLA for the supports. That is the way early Cubify supports work. You can wash away PLA with high alkaline solutions. But you want to use PVA for wash-away supports.

    This should be easy. I do not recall temperatures for PVA. It they are close to PLA, You could try v2.02 of CubePro to see if it works. Using v1.87 slicer, you can adjust the temperature of either the ABS, PVA, or both.

    Go ahead and set up your print file in v1.87 CubePro. Use ABS for the body of the print and use PLA for the supports. Export the file and open it in the editor.

    This is where you follow Buddybu's directions and screen-images to send the file to the printer. You will be able to open the file after processing in CubePro 1.87. You can send the file via wifi from the app if you choose. You can also use USB.

    Advanced materials... Most of the advanced materials require the 0.5mm extruder and v2.02. v1.87 will be limited in this regard.

    let me ask 4 of the temperatures 210 260 250 and 200 which one do I need to change and what does the meaning of each temperature show?

    What I have discovered, is this:

    210 -- initial heating temperature just to get it warmed up
    260 -- first layer printing temperature
    250 -- remaining layers printing temperature
    200 -- cool down temperature,

    An example of how I use this configuration when printing PLA with a temperature range of 190-220:

    210 -- I leave this one as is
    260 -- I will lower this to 215 to 220, and possibly lower depending on how the first layer turns out.
    250 -- I will set this to anywhere from 190 to 215 depending on how the PLA is flowing.
    200 -- I will leave this as is.

    A specific example of using 3D Solution Tech PLA:

    210 -> 210
    260 -> 215
    250 -> 205
    200 -> 200

    I normally do not change the first and last, which are the warming up and cooling down temperatures. I suppose I could lower those to be just outside of the PLA range, but it hasn't caused me troubles yet.

    Sometimes the file will need a little investigation to understand what temperatures are assigned to. If these temperatures are reported in a file with both ABS and PLA, then the 200 and 210 may be PLA and 250-260 is ABS.

    CubePro is simpler with temperatures that Cube3, which is a good thing. Looking at purge temperatures in the file may make it clear to understand the assignment. I copy the BFB into notepad and search for M104/M204 entries.

    Buddy, any way we can put a simple search in the BFB editor window?
