RBPi Timelapse Camera Mount

Hi!

I created a RBPi Camera mount for my Timelapse config

The modifications i did was to the mounting to the base.

I uploaded a test of the timelapse to youtube, this is what the timelapse looked like:



Dont mention the bad quality, its purpose is to show the cameras angle towards the print

I notice that your Sketchup model has some solid anomalies that can cause issues with slicers.
I'd suggest that you install a Sketchup plugin called "Solid inspector2". It is great to inform you and try to automatically fix the object problems.
Sometimes I don't understand why the slicer does not 'slice' well, and this plugin helps a lot.

Plate Clip for RapideLite.by TiNkiN.....

What type of camera are U using is it connected to computer Via software I wanted to use a IP Camera so I can monitor remotely

Yea thats mine aswell, thanks for the link I like using different cameras.
I use the Raspberry Pi Camera for smaller stuff. The GoPro have a larger field of view - so thats perfectly suited for larger objects.

With the Gopro i just press record and let it save it to the SD card. But with the Raspberry Pi Camera i can create timelapses/monitor the print with Octoprint installed on the Raspberry Pi. I havent found a simple way to connect the GoPro to the Raspberry Pi for monitoring purposes - without buying converters or wifi-stuff

My mistake saw you posted link thought it was TiNkiN But still a good idea So same mount

Dont have a Raspberry Pi But I do have a couple cheap IP cameras that we use for security and a active wifi network

So I do not have to have it connected to a computer I was into just monitoring
But if I am right your system is a lot more sophisticated and can do much more

You can probably use a IP Camera on a Raspberry Pi to do the same thing Im sure someone has done something like that.
