    CR10s PRO and USB ???

I'm setting up my CR10s PRO with OctoPrint running under Windows 10 on an elderly remote Lenovo ThinkCenter machine - I control the macine and the printer via Remote Desktop in Windows and it works - kind of !

    I have some issues I don-t understand:

    1) Why is the CR10s PRO "rebooting" 2-3-4 times when I turn on the machine it is connected to ?
The ON/OFF switch on the printer is OFF !

    2) Eventhough the CR10s seems to be ON you can't use the printer because you have to MANUALLY turn it ON first with the ON/OFF switch on the PRINTER itself !
What is the purpose of this "halfway" turning the printer on ?

    Any ideas ?

Sounds like something is mis-wired in the communications wiring.

I am wondering if the power from your computer USB port is somehow messing with the printer. Having the printer boot several times just from connecting to a USB port seems pretty strange.
