    i am not an electrican expert but i think it will increase the voltage (12V) in general and not only the heater (heat-bed)

    Yeah, there's a margin of tolerance in nearly all components involved, but it's still risky imho....

    Just don't exceed the upper voltage limit on the control boards voltage regulator and it'll be fine.

    with my RUMBA Board installed instead of the Rapide board ... I was at sitting at 11.8v and I bumped it to 12.8v. Not too willing to push too far past -+ 5% on a 12v rating ... not comfortable going past -+10 for sure... suppose 13v would be fine.
