I wanted to unscrew the nozzle, I made a big mistake, my tools slided and I cut the wires of the block heater.

Here the infos to buy another (thanks Ethan)

Heat cartridge = 12V cartridge heating tube 30W
Thermistor : see the list below on the photo

So if you want to change the thermistor, you must buy one of the list and change the code :

Thermistor 100k is easy to find.

the best is to find one in the list :

thermocouple with MAX6675 (only for sensor 0)
thermocouple with AD595
100k thermistor - best choice for EPCOS 100k (4.7k pullup)
200k thermistor - ATC Semitec 204GT-2 (4.7k pullup)
Mendel-parts thermistor (4.7k pullup)
10k thermistor !! do not use it for a hotend. It gives bad resolution at high temp. !!

Just a note on the extruder cooling fans.

Alas one of mine failed yesterday after only two weeks of use. I thought that it might have been a broken wire problem - given the number of times I have disassembled my extruder - but no, it was a definite fan failure.
The cheapest replacement that I could find on the web was from here . You need these:

ADDA AB4512HX-GD7 cooling fans

The fans identified earlier are incorrect. Those are axial blower fans such as you might use on a computer CPU whereas we need side blower units that discharge the airflow sideways into the printed ducts.

I bought two, just in case !

to fix the thermistor, i was affraid to cut the thin cables with a screw and i didn't want to used thermal paste in order to don't have to change all the block if i have a problems, so I used a paper clip (attaches parisiennes) :

I bought two, just in case !

I originally purchased two axials from the UK as I wanted them tomorrow! They are better quality with higher outputs but I had to mod them into side blowers, touch wood they've been fine so I've left them alone.

I also purchased two of these for spares, they are 'used' and they have an aluminium plate for $6.30
