Next weekend ill Do the endstops and nozzles with bowden, and have to Design side clips for the spools on both sides..., 10hours of labour and the cube is done...

    - - - - - - - - - -

Thats where extruders sit at the back_20200301_214356.JPG

    - - - - - - - - - -

And dont mind the mess, there are parts all over the place

    - - - - - - - - - -

When im done it will be the open source cube

    - - - - - - - - - -

I tryed to play with cubify, but after an hour or so i wasnt really exited.. My anet a8 can print the same quality or superior to the cube, after slicing Parameter are dialed in to Perfektion...
Im expecting the cube to be superior to Stock with s3d, in quality noise and speed

Impressive. Do you still have a pic of the processor mounted to the frame somewhere? Really nice work!

Next weekend, im at work 350km from Home...
But ill hope i can fully build it at the weekend, than i can make a Tutorial with detailed description of things to be done and parts needed if you All want to, with Display and Board Firmware...

    - - - - - - - - - -

Its preety straight forward, but a pain in the a**e as the cube is too over engeneered for what IT is

Which processor Do yo have in mind? Motherboard?

    - - - - - - - - - -

The Board sits in there... There is plastic on top and bottom, no risk
There, IT will be fixed with 2 screws from the bottom, so it cant move

    - - - - - - - - - -

Mks gen l didnt fit, the skr fits tight in there...
What i also have to order is an sd card slot cable and incorporate that to the Front...

    - - - - - - - - - -

You could use the stock extruder too.. But i opted for 3-1 ratio for more Power and control

    - - - - - - - - - -

Ill probably rewire using original cables, for the looks of it.. Right now its a mess in there

When i take IT apart ill make more Fotos and Dokumentation, so it wont be hard for other cube owners to do the same mod

Mobo fits in the Front assembly between both metal "legs", its covered completly, if some of you Plan to use tmc drivers, they run Hot so they need active cooling, simply reuse one of the extruder Motor Fans.. They are 12v Fans but run silent and fast enough on 9v

    Qube3Bot would be me.

Are you planning on making the slicer work with the original waste bins for purging and wiping?

Could you give me the cad file from your spool Clip?
Need to make spool holder using the clips...
So i can rework that in fusion360, it would save me some time...
