All I know about PETG is that in Cube3 using the Ekocycle slicer does well with PETG. I turn the temps down to 250C. I have no idea where to start with Simplify3D.

I notice all my picture attachments got goofed up for some reason...what a pain... I'll try and re-post them when I get a chance.

What it Ekocycle? I've never heard of it. Does it work with the Cubepro and can you post a link to check out?

    Thanks

I'm working on a spool box to go on the top of the Cubepro and have been printing brackets to hold the spools. I decided to print one in PETG using my current settings. It came out pretty decent I think. End result not quite as nice as PLA or ABS but pretty close.

Cubical, That is much much better quality than I have ever gotten from my machines. Can you please share your settings, I would like to give them a try.

    Cheers,
    RS

Cubical, any chance you could share your settings? That is the best print quality I have ever seen from a Cube machine!

    Cheers, RS

Sure thing. I attached them earlier in this thread but something happened to them. I'll try again

Keep in mind, I bored out the nozzle to .45mm which is about 30% larger than the factory .35. So that may be helping some too.

Also, this is Matterhackers Build filament

I don't use any glue or anything on the bed normally. Instead, I keep a tight gap on the nozzle-to-bed spacing and draw the first layer with an elevated temperature. The surface of my bed is fairly scratched so has a lot of texture.

This works for most of what I do, but with certain materials if the model is too big it will lift off the bed. A raft helps. If that fails then I will resort to using glue.

Cubical, nice, thank you. I will give your setting a trial this weekend and let you know how I get on.

    Much appreciated.
