Note the lack of RX/TX LED activity on the Rapide board vs the RUMBA board upon being powered
Actually, USB is not fully dead, as the board is both recognized by MacOS and OctoPi and if i unplug it, the OS warns about it....

It's not dead, it's sleeping

Guess we'll have to change to a different. Can't explain how it comes that they had 3 Boards that worked with their setup. Except if they have a special setup to connect to the board...
Guess I'll have to order a rumba board as well. @Bolsoncerrado where did you order the Board and does it need special wiring? ^^
RUMBA can be ordered almost at every place... I ordered it at an online spanish store...
THe only "special wiring" you need is to replace the connectors on the endstops... right now im using wire "converters" plugged into the endstops, just for testing purposes. Once it works fine, i'll remove them and change the connector type.
BTW you'll also need 5 or 6 motor drivers, the DRV8825, to use the 1/32 microstepping feature aboard the Rapide Lite.
I'm having issues uploading the firmware though, and I guess it's because of MacOS... I'm still testing.
We'll see where this ends![]()
Unfortunately not. Stock Marlin is not ready for the Rapide set up and I still have to upload the Rapide FW to this Rumba board. So far, failed miserably on MacOS.
Next step is trying with the RasPi.
Good luck with that. Hopefully works out.
