Which softwares do you use daily or more often?

Just a quick poll to satisfy my curiosity

I use TinkerCad https://www.tinkercad.com/ for my designing as it's really easy to use (and free).

I use solidworks for creating new things. For me that means parts for projects I'm working on.

Designspark Mechanical is a must for me as well as Mesh Mixer, Mesh Lab, and Netfabb these are my daily drivers as well as using sketchup pro the odd time for a specific need.

Im amazed about how many people still chooses slic3r over cura for example... to me they're night and day...

I'm really tempted to buy Simplify 3D btw...

Simplify3D is very good, but not perfect.
I advise you to follow their forum to evaluate if the existing pain points of the software are not going to disappoint you after spending the money. Specially because there are the free ones that have some better features. http://www.forum.simplify3d.com/

But, I still prefer S3D from Cura for slicing, now that I got used to all the S3D settings.

If it wasn't OctoPrint, I would use it also for controlling the printer because it is really good for that purpose. The remote access of OP and PC independent are really the only reason.

Hands down Simplify is the best in my opinion.
Everything else out there so damn clunky.
Any previous issues I had are gone now with Simplify.
The only thing I don't care for is their bed leveling program.
I still use MatterControl for that.
And then after I do a bed level in MatterControl, if my starting height is too low or too high,
I just tell simplify where to starts printing the first layer.
Well worth the money.

I would say CURA software by Ultimaker. I am using it for the past 10 months. It is very user friendly. It is available in Mac, Windows and Linux platforms.
