    Multi color printing

    Hello,

I was looking for informations to make multicolor or multi material extrusion and I found this :
    http://www.immaginaecrea.it/index.ph...wordpress/blog

It doesn't take a lot of place, only one block heater but 4 differents filament.

The cost seems to be light (4 motors and a 10$ card) but the extruder 100$

What do you think about it ?

I guess we're on the early stages of multicolor printing still... But any tests are welcome

    Hi,

I have news from Mosaic : there the answer of my mail :

Our anticipated launch date is April 21st (this may get pushed one week back due to logistics of publishing on KS).

We’re going to have 20 super early bird units available for $600 CAD (~$475 USD), 20 Early Birds available for $750 CAD (~$590USD) and the remainder of the units will be sold at $850 CAD (~$670 USD).

    To be inform :

I just realised, this uses a Bowden type feed system, hence the need for four motors and you would then have to find somewhere to put those 4 motors and all the drive gears etc.
