First maintenance after 3Kg of PETG

    20210212_111234.jpg

I've been running NovaMaker white PETG almost exclusively for the last 3 spools.

Yesterday I was getting some clicking. This is what I found - the 42mm tube was nearly completely separated.
Good to know there is a wear component to the cartridge upgrades. Hold onto that stock tubing!

As a note; I've been printing PETG using BuddyBu's editor. I run the Ekocycle profile and turn the temps down to 250C.
I haven't touched this nozzle for over a year and its made a lot nice parts.

One plus on the PETG - it didn't ooze around the end of the tube. The maintenance was very straight forward.

Interesting. Which end was this on? It looks like nozzle end?
