3D Systems Ekocycle Printer - The Cube 3's Strange Cousin

That is wonderful news, once again no less. Now do some printing and tell us what you think.

Started to experiment and took off the front of the spool and hooked up some Matterhackers black PETG.

Printing was very smooth, no warping or layer adhesion issues. Filament seemed to print fine even at a high temperature. Unable to figure out what temperature its printing at.

Finished print was great! Right is original Ekocycle black filament and left is Matterhackers black PETG. I even think the Matterhackers black PETG came out better than the Ekocycle filament. Even after these prints the spool still reads 66%, so the modded firmware is working like it should.

I think this will be good enough to get back onto the floor and have students start printing again. If I have time in the future I'd like to get some mods going and make it a much more easy to use printer.
