Printing mould for big sculpture ??

I have a CR10S and wants to print a sculpture of a cat in brass.

I have a STL-file of the cat but want to make the mould hollow with a 3-4 mm thick wall.

Because the cat is big I wants to divide the mould into a number of parts.

Is that the path to go and how to do it ?

Meshmixer worked great for me on a similar attempt. Did it work out for you? Most of the time I prefer to leave anything related to printing or frame working to frameshop.com.au mainly due to the guy that has it. When you enter the shop you can see so many beautiful examples of his work. I prefer when people showcase what they can do when it comes to such tasks. For this particular case that you are describing though, Meshmixer works just fine I guess. If you need help with creating custom-made frames let me know as I have a bit of experience already.
