cube 2 software/driver links?

Hello!

Sorry, im really new, but my design teacher gave me a cube 2 3d printer! i would love to print on it, but i cant find the print software anywhere, would you mind giving me some download links for all the software/drivers I will need? Thanks!!

Thank you so much! however, i am faced with a new problem: when i select the print button in the cube software, instead of printing, it brings up the file folder from the STL. any ideas?

i fixed this problem. however, when i try to print, the filament never comes out.

I don't see much for troubleshooting guides. Time to put on the tinkerer's hat;
Is the hot end getting hot? Is there a test print on the menu? Is there a maintenance menu?

I've never run a Cube2 so hopefully someone wiser than me can help.

Hi,
I also just got a Cube 2. Before I could print for the first time I had to unclog the nozzle with the wire/tool that came with it.
Next my cartridge chip was empty, which I reset with Recube Light. It doesn't seem to work as intended but filling it to 71% seemed to do the trick. Recube displays that it's 0.1 % full, while the printer displays a full bar.
Now I'd like to load the newest firmware. I found a download link for version 2.18 - does anyone know whether that is correct? I'm a bit hesitant in downloading files from random sites.
Any tips on how to get the most of my Cube 2 3D printer are greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum andi42. The files you find on this site in the Cube3 section is a direct copy of the Cubify files. Several of us have been working to preserve this data.

Nice to know Cube2 chips can be updated with ReCube Light. It was not designed to do that so. It is great to know it worked anyway. I do know you can convert Cube2 chips to any other printer using the ReCube Pro version.

You do need a cartridge with some filament in it but I know how to hack it to make it use Bulk filament
