Oh well, then a LCD screen alone it is.... as I started looking my hope was to be able to connect the RaspbPi without USB but doesn't seem possible.
I went into the Rapide Pi section looking for answrs

I'm trying to find a way to use the printer; the board is alive and It works with SD cards, but I like the control of a USB or TCP/IP connection

How did you determine USB is dead?
Did you open the back of the case and check the cable that goes from outside to the board?
Did you try connecting a NEW USB cable to the board directly? From another computer?

Yes to all of the above.
I also checked COM port speed, tested 115200, 57600,
    reinstall arduino drivers
and checked from a linux-box that was working just fine

The computer sees the board, but it is not connecting
Repetier is telling me no start signal; and can't read the tempertaures or send commands

I placed a g-code on an SD card and it worked just fine

Thus, my assumptions that the USB has a communications issue; and I need to find a workaround

    - - - - - - - - - -

Do you think I should try soemthing else?

    - - - - - - - - - -

PS the problems started after I decided to change back from ABS to PLA, and after the 1st prints the printer ran out of filament at about 90% of a 6h print
The extruder heater burnt and then the USB went down
Maybe the 2 thigns aren't related but they are chronologically one after the other

It would be easier for you if you just swap the controller board. Go figure I just fitted one of these onto a RL200XL and it worked really nice:

I understand, I was offered an MKS base card for cheap, and I may take it and see how it does
    Is that card any good?

PS. tu nombre me parecia interesante, eres español?
