Bowden, Bolsoncerrado, I bough it for another printer I have (a Delta), but I'll try it in the Rapide... I'm now wondering what bowden setup (the filament advance) I'm going to build/buy, the one that is shown at the Thingiverse picture seems great (the only picture in which motor-end of the bowden setup is shown), where would it be available though?
But there are some designs out there that deserve to be printed, I've to chose from:

    http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:126778
This one seems simpler to build and easier to fit the force on the pressing roller:

    Any suggestion?

I have these pending to install with the Diamond... may be enough?

I also once saw a motor installed where the Z finishes, ie where the two rods sit, might be a good place to put the motor too.

Maybe can be used to adapt to our printer?

Bilbobolson, this MK9 from reprapme you shown seems quite interesting... it even includes the motor for the price, seems really cheap.

I'm trying Nylon print with the e3DV6 when installed, but I'm pretty sure the "stock" firmware wont allow for it: I've seen an error arising and stopping the print when the T goes far from a stablished value (I think it was somewhere around 235-240ÂșC)...mmmm...

The firmware can be tweaked to accept higher values as long as your thermistor, heater and parts accept the values. That's definetly not an issue to worry about.

Do you think I need to change something on the firmware after changing the old extruder with the mk9?

You probably need to calibrate your extruder steps:

yes i've done that before with the original rapide extruder, thanx for infos.

Also I need to place the extruder in a tactical place, I've read on reprap forum that bowden ptfe tube must be in 30-60 cm lenght to get better results.

Probably this weekend i'll replace all the stuff and post the result
