Hi, I can assist but I do recommend testing print quality of single nozzle vs. triple. Each additional printhead assembly adds considerable weight, which translates into more vibration artifacts. I own a few X and Pro trios and have converted all that I use to single for quality improvements.

If you do need components, please PM me and I'll help you out.

Hi, yes. You'll find all of the boards are exactly the same regardless of the number of printjets.

The only potential issue you may run into when swapping/replacing nozzles is the advanced nozzle, which must be installed in printjet 2 location and then activated before it can be used. It's annoying but another way 3DS locked down the printer. If you go into settings and find the advanced nozzle screen, if it is checked then you'll want to label that nozzle because it's a .5mm advanced nozzle. I believe the shrink tubing on the nozzle is also a different color but the settings menu is a sure indication that you have it installed.

That nozzle allows the printing of Wood and Flex filament with the OEM slicer.
