NEA Printers crowdfunding project CANCELLED. Refunds to take place soon.

    As per last official update:

    Dear NEA Supporters, Indiegogo Backers,

We regret to inform you that we will not be able to deliver the NEA 3D printer as promised at this time.

We know you must be disappointed. Believe us, coming to this realization the last couple weeks has been extremely difficult for Team NEA. You, our loyal backers, have waited patiently, and for that we thank you and give our deepest apologies for not delivering on your expectations.

    So what happened?

After weeks of scouting and searching for manufacturers who could produce our awesome printer, we found out that building a product of this caliber at the allotted price is simply not possible. We would not cut corners on quality as our goal has always been to deliver the best product ever, but there were simply too many challenges that we had to overcome. Once we realized that we may have to re-engineer the machine to make it viable, thus requiring you to wait even longer, the decision had to be made.

    Simply Put

Making our loyal backers wait in limbo even longer with no clear end in sight would not be reasonable. We have decided to give back a 100% refund on all purchases. The refund process will begin promptly next week, and we will be contacting you individually to make repayment arrangements. Refunding will begin in the order in which funds were received, and we ask you to please continue to be patient with us as we process the returns of your money.

Will I ever see a NEA 3D Printer in the future?

NEA has always been committed to bringing you the most reliable, modular, future ready and most beautiful 3D printer on the market, and that hasn't changed. At this point, our NEA team needs to re-evaluate options. We know we have something special here, your commitment to stay on board even after two refund periods showed us that you and the industry truly want and need a printer of this caliber. We cannot make any promises for the future, but we will continue to update all of you, our loyal backers and community supporters, via your contact information currently provided to us. If and when we are truly ready to deliver, you will be the first to know!

Again, we sincerely thank you for believing in us and for your continued patience along this journey.

    Sincerely,
    Team NEA

I just received a call back from Rene Pardo. I called him last night complaining about no updates and refunds. He stated that there will be a update later on tonight and tomorrow and refunds will be delivered in 80% immediately or 100% in a few months to regain lost money. Don’t think these guys are a scam they are not. Stay up guys, your money will be refunded and I know next time around Nea will have there stuff down pat!

    Chris,

Not to be a gloomy gus, but it has been six months, approximately sixteen people got refunds, the rest NOTHING. Not even the consideration of an email letting us know what is going on.

Sorry, but if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and STEALS LIKE A THIEF, it was a rip off.

that is why I keep telling our investors that good indiegogo campaign it is not only an opportunity, it is also a big risk.

    potential threat to your business.
    you may not fail...

still even after shipping the tool or device you might still have some issues with quality and logistics...
