Lightbulb Delta Printer (Need help with Calculations)

Hello guys!! Is there anyone that maybe could help me understand the calculations of the delta type printer?
I've seen that there is different kind's of calculators but the numbers dosen't explain where the messurements are?

Ive seen that there are also different types of delta printers?

    Rostock?
    Kossel?

    (Pros & Cons?)

I want to build the type using Smooth rods and GT2 belts (500mm~ build height) and (250mm Diameter heatbed "round/square" and carbon fiber 8-10mm rods as arms (with M8 uniballs)

I can't find any good information, that explains all the angles, length of rods and tower spacings and so on!

If I knew then it would be easy to design it in auto desk inventor. I'm stuck guys and really really need your help!

The Kossel is the linear evolution of the Rostock. I'd ask Joao and/or try to get the kit he got. He's getting pretty good results for a fraction of a price most of the printers in the market cost.

My suggestion would be exactly the same of @bolsoncerrado's.
Buy a Kossel kit from AliExpress for around €300 and you will get everything to build a nice printer, and you will learn a lot just by building it.
Then if you don't like it you can use most of the parts for your own design (motors, electronics, switches, cabling, lcd, power supply, etc).

I found a few websites explaining the calculations, but you will only need them for configuring the firmware of the Arduino.
You can choose the dimensions that you want because everything is configured.
Look at this blog, I found it the most useful information: http://minow.blogspot.co.uk

The printer that I bought: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/heate...506620241.html

If you buy a kit you only need to replace a few parts to achieve that height.
Simply replacing the 3 vertical beams, the 3 timing belts and the 6 diagonal rods.

I believe that it is also a cheap way to learn how a delta printer works a use it to print the parts for the new one.
I decided to use mine (from the kit) instead of building another one because it is already good enough and the size is more than enough.

Its even simpler, there is no need to change the diagonal rods if you use the same bed size (300mm diameter).

I've looked at the printers at aliexpress but they are to small! I really want to build my own. But there isn't much information. The calculators doesn't explain in detail so it's hard to design.

I've seen that there's (building) rules, like arm length. diagonal rods angles and so on. I'll soon try to make a prototype in autodesk and see if it's going to work or not to design something with my own dimensions.

I want everything to be so efficient as possible for the smallest footprint size as possible.

the Kossel versions on aliexpress have a print area of 180mm and that's to small...

The problem later on is to find a heatbed that's large enough (250mm and bigger)

i already have a pursa type printer with a 300x300mm heatbed running at 24V and it's great! (Homemade)
