Just enough clearance, so it doesn't hit the garage door track.

I'm thinking I need to heat treat the lead screw there is a little flex in it. I started grinding the ends down already. Once I finish that I will cut the frame in half and plug in an extension.

XXL Modification- stretching the z axis

I made a little progress today. Been busy but I've been working on 3D printing stuff a lot lately. I'm hoping to build some tall pieces for my other project where I am designing and building a 3D printer. My passion is really on making my own printer and then sharing the it with the community. Turns out what is a seeming simple task of building a 3D printer involves sourcing a lot of parts, connectors, pins, wiring, as well as specialized tooling to make production go more smooth. Like crimping tools, heat shrink air gun, taps, etc..
