    IGUS bearings run

    Hi there,

In our spanish forum we're planning to do a run (cooperative purchase) of IGUS bearings, this is, replacing the lame ball bearing chinese LMU8's with the japanese IGUS bearings, this is just a plastic, lubricant-free "bearing" that is noise and ball free:

    http://www.igus.eu/wpck/13170/N15_06_17_RJ4JP?C=DE&L=en

New Japanese standard in solid plastic

    easy two times…

Lubricant free, accurate, easy and quick to install. These are clearly and briefly the advantages of the new solid plastic bearing made from iglidur® J4 in Japanese dimension. In Ø 8 mm, the cost-effective drylin® bearing provides the lubricant free alternative to conventional ball bearings in 3D printers.

Lubricant free alternative to ball bearings with Japanese dimension
    Long service life
    Quickly installed, secured by circlips
    Light and clean

    Typical applications:3D printers, gantries

(you may have noticed IGUS uses a Witbox 2 as the picture to promote these bearings! lol)

If you're interested in getting the BEST pricing, this is the breakdown per piece we're getting:

    De 50 a 99: 1.4€ VAT incl.
    De 100 a 199: 1.15€ VAT incl.
    De 200 a 499: 0.85€ VAT incl.
    De 500 a 999: 0.75€ VAT incl.

If you're interested in participating, HURRY UP! We're close to the 500 barrier so with your help i'm sure we'll cross it even sooner

Each rapide comes with quite a bunch of LMUs so be sure to grab quite a few! Even some as replacements

Just fill in this form with your FULL NAME (Nombre y apellidos), the NICKNAME you use in this forum (Seudónimo del grupo Clone Wars), your EMAIL ADDRESS (Correo electrónico) and the amount of IGUS of each size (LMU8 or even LMU10 if you plan to upgrade your slider bars to 10mm in the future?) you need (Cantidad de IGUS -08 deseados (número entero)). Set it to 0 if none.

Once I start collecting payments, we'll place the order on the IGUS website and once I have the IGUS pieces with me, I'll ask for the shipping charges based on your delivery address.

    Cheers!

6mm are available, yes. You can actually edit the Excel now and adapt your order at your needs. The closing date for the order is Monday at 9am GMT+1.

    Hi All,

Just caught this in time, I'd like two sets for the standard RL200 - Do they just fit into the current bearing holders? How many do I need?

    Thanks!

I think there are 3 for the bed and is it 2 (or 4) for the X wing????? Either way I ordered ALOT more, they have met the price break point for the cheapest price so I ordered alot for myself to serve on other projects so better off getting a few extra.
