Useful (hardware companion) tools for our Morpheus!

Please post useful tools you have bought (or printed?!) and find useful to use, process or postprocess prints with your Morpheus!


For example, I think I'm gonna get these:



to wipe all the resin from the VAT / film when switching resin or long term non printing (weekends).

Which reminds me a good idea should be to add one of these too to our toolbox:

I would also add as small sink strainer or cheese cloth to filter out particulates when dumping resin back into the funnel.

also, keep plenty of disposable gloves, paper towels, and extra bottles of IPA handy! I actually have everything listed minus the squeegee which I'll probably pick up today! Great Post! AP

I actually bought one of these which has the double function of funnel and filter:



for less than an euro in one of these chinese bazars. It's a coffee maker funnel filter spare part.

I also realized we can't use a smaller filter size with colored pigment resins because then the pigment will stay out of the resin and will turn out our resin "unpigmented" lol

Yet another handy tool I was using with FDM prints too is this:



After a recent failed print, where I had to scrap everything and break apart all the print literally breaking all the resin from the plate, I noticed most of the holes were still filled with semisolid resin, so the tool came handy to clean the holes in the plate, like this:





Just blow some air with your mouth to find out if its either solid or liquid being held in the hole and use the tool accordingly Then just wipe with IPA and paper towel as usual.

Otherwise if you use the plate with filled cured resin, next print might have issues grabbing itself to the plate!
