Correct. With V1.0, any cartridge that was activated (less than 100%) will stay at the current percentage.
0% cartridges will still fail to print.
To activate a cartridge with 100% on the chip currently requires you reload original firmware.
Once it at 99% or less, reload the V1.0 patch.

100% cartridges is the one bug we still need to get past.
