Ran out of filament! Ha... That's a long print. What settings did you use?

Guys, I wonder if anyone can tell me where to find the spare parts nozzles for cartridges of 3 cube.
Thank you

I'll try again today, Don. Thanks.
Martelli, it is a good idea to collect cartridges while they are available.
We need to scab parts for some time to come.
At this time, I don't know of anyone that sells these parts.
We should start a "sales, trades, and ISO" thread though.
And just to weigh in on the filament tubing replacement...
My theory is right and that the filament want to be tight in a tube that is minimally constrained.
Having said that, the 2x4 tubing is not working. It does -exactly- what the stock unit does.
I printed a Rook and compared it to a brand new printer's Rook.
Even the flaws were identical!
I will run the Rook with the spliced tube next.
So far, the stock tubing in the Cube 3 cartridges has the least clearance.
And this is what we want!

Im still unsure on which path to follow on the hotend...
Either the "drill head" path or the "modify head" path....
The modify one is more aesthetic but seems a bit more complicated to realize....
The drill one is easier, but less aesthetic hmmm

I like the tube flying overhead. I can see it and it is the least energy solution.

Can anyone point me to where I can get the download link for the print head holder? I tried to use the link that sends you to "mega" for the download but its no longer available.

You mean the drill guide for modifying stock nozzles housings?

Yes that one. The link (https://mega.nz/#!xB1gEbhD!860WAr1Ii...Whyr7f0xOjq_G0) seems to be dead

Welcome to the forum, WBJ. I looked through my collection and could not find these parts either.
There are some other solutions on Thingiverse for complete nozzle replacements.
I might also have you take a look at the universal hub here on the forum also.
The universal hub can be implemented on either the hot end or the cartridge side, or both.
If you have access to a simple lathe, the conversion is very simple. If not, there are tools to aide in modifying bowden tubes.
Let me know if I can help you sort out all these different offerings.
