Let's keep a track of new pieces, improvements and other hacks related to the Cube3 that you can print yourself.

As starters, we have HOW TO Replace the Cube 3 Cartidges with an "Open Source" Modification.

    For the recipe you'll need:

    1) Hack your Cube 3 Firmware
    2) Build a new Extruder Hub
    3) (re)Build a new Hotend

Further hacks (some may be outdated):

As a side note to the great invention, Don...
When you buy the Infinity Rinse version, it comes with some higher stiction pads to be taped onto the current caps.

Speaking of which... anyone tried a 3rd party wash away materials yet?

Like if they realized something was wrong on the bed? Or why only with the Rinse filament??

Just a comment on this: if you print the rings on flex filament and scale them down, say, 99.5%, im pretty sure you can save up the double tape and the nature of the flexible filament will get even better stabilization against the plate.

Also, if you use a pen and paint a "clock" on the rings, you can easier tune the bed when the Printer tells you to move 1/4, 2/4 etc each ring.
    aka sort of this: http://cubifyfans.blogspot.com.es/20...-leveling.html
Perhaps you can modify your files, make the rings a lil wider and add such reference marks?

Not sure but they certainly realized there is more pressure against your print with infinity rinse.

Unless someone has another 3D printer besides the Cube 3, they won't be able to print with flex filament. And if not double sided tape, how would you fasten the flex filament to the print plate?

Haven't done anything with it yet, but I definitely think this is an excellent deal...

Yeah the idea was to shrink the prints in flexible filament a bit so they snug fit on the rings by themselves....

Have you tried using the filament in Cube 3D? How is it best used in a PLA cartridge or in an ABS cartridge? I say it because of the temperatures ....
