That is a little more complex than what I can do on my lathe. I see where you are going with that.

Have you looked at using existing pincher mechs to see if they could just be bolted in the stock location? Basically replace the motor with one that has the right shaft.

it could be bolted to the stock location using an adapter plate and making the 2 additional holes into the plastic, to find the hole position just use the bottom assembly,
i am using the stock extruder parts (bearing and drive gear) with stock motor...
the pictures of the assembled extruder are indeed on the stock motor...
i can design a matching adapter plate if needed... just let me know

no need to replace the motor... it is made to be used with stock motor with rectangular shaft... just disassemble the cartridge to recover the bearing and drive gear

the only thing u have to worry about is the motor direction, on my build its just a matter of firmware... ill try on my white one and see how it works out, ive also emailed the touchscreen manufacturer to ask about stock display pinout... as it uses spi communication we could probably be able to recycle that as well... waiting for an answer from them

I still use cartridges. Perfectly happy with that solution. I have an electric filament driver
