Adjust Your Cube 3 Filament Nozzles fo Dual Color Printing
This is about tweaking the Cube 3 cartridges for optimum dual extruder performance.
The idea is that both nozzles must have the same gap in order for one not to alter the work of the other.

The ZIP file contains the STL and the CUBE3 files. The Cube file is: right side, pla, 200, strong, diamond, no, no.
The name is too long but it will open by truncating.
The print time is 01:36:00
Those two set screws are likely there for the default setting from the factory.
They are also very problematic.
Many printers had these two screws over-tightened.
It cracked the white plastic making the whole assembly questionable.
Many also have blue Loctite.
I wouldn't want to remove them just in case the screws are too tights to turn.
I had the first white printer replaced because the white plastic was cracked all the way through.
They agreed that was a problem.
I did tell service that the left would knock down structures built with the right.
Having said all that, the factory setting should be trusted. The depth of the push nut on the nozzle varies all over the map.
I am finding some outliers, but for the most part, when I adjust the nozzles with the tool, they will be within working range of each other.
I'm looking for 25um or less in difference. I get this from 4 out of 5 or better, roughly.
cool. i printed your adjuster, as it is still helpful for the bag of nozzles that i have, just wanted to make sure people were aware of the "standard" method as well.
Finally got around to modifying one of my cartridges, the filament kept breaking and jamming through the side of the tubing. Went to set the depth using don's original design and found one issue.. Me.
I printed it with abs and didn't account for shrinkage. Oops. The nozzle got stuck in the back off side, I had to use a knife and cut the nozzle out. Then I drilled out the other side a little and set the nozzle.
I'm going to print it again, but with pla like I should have. 😆
