The thing they thread on the Teflon tubing is a barrel nut. I don't use them for any configuration. Those are the bane of Cube3!

This one was carbon-poisoned by burnt PLA switching to ABS.
I try to keep high temp nozzle for ABS and PETG separate from PLA/low temp nozzles.

Temporal distortion

You do know that you can print ABS with PLA chip right?
You can make an ABS print and use the decoder to change the material to PLA (say material 92), then recompile it.
I say this for a different reason; the fact that 3rd party ABS works wonders using the Ekocycle profile (print using the offline Ekocycle slicer).
Then you would change machine type and material in the file to print on Cube3.

Keep a close eye on eBay. There tend to be good deals on Cube3 carts from time to time. You just have to beat me to it
Basic going rate should be in the neighborhood of $25-$30.

I found I ran out of internal spools very quickly.

You can reprogram Cube and Cube2 chips to the supported chips now that you have the pro version of ReCube working.
