    9 years of printing, unfortunately the metal sqare extruding part that rotate the cartridge looks like erase edges and now do not want to extrude

    i bought welding gun never did welding before, maybe you have advice for me Tommy. I am planning to take a paper clip and try to weld it to with this:

    That won't weld a paperclip but it will melt solder and with a little flux, you can solder copper, nickel, or tin parts easily.

    Tamer1an; mine is rounded out also, but much worse. The sacrificial device is the driver in the cartridge however. A fresh driver might keep that motor running for a while longer.

    In all the years I've played with these, I only wore out one driver. They are pretty tough but when they stop turning, it is time to replace them.
