    So this is what happens when you respool old (2013) 3DS filament! LOL I left the spool totally "respooled" on friday, only to find it like this today:














    It autodestroyed itself! LOL

    Nice programmed obsolescence, 3DS! lol

    Yep, that is what happened to my clear filament too. Notice that the "small" ID is on the outside now. And all the breaks are from being on the large diameter now.

    That is what WYZ told me to never do.

    Thats weird though as smaller diameter was stressing the filament more than the cube3 spools, thats really weird. ANyhow, it was OLD so it was somehow expected.

    It was definitely old

    I've had better luck with "double winds" lately.
    Move to an intermediate spool 1st.
