    Suggestions for the Codes table in Post #1:
    M101 - Left extruder on
    M201 - Right extruder on
    M103 - Extruders off, and retract per current M227 setting (current description is "Retract" - technically the same, I guess)

    Hi. I'd like to thank for all this information.
    This made possible to use Simplify3D with my Cube printer.
    Now I made a simple application to send the .cube3 files to the printer through wifi.
    I can share if anyone have interest.

    Here follow a simple LabView program to sent the .cube3 file to the printer. Just insert the printer IP address, select the file and press Send.

    Interesting... Norton antivirus lights up all over trying to download this.
    Once I found the right button for the download, Norton says its unsafe and won't let me download.
    Aren't there any sharing sites that don't try to destroy your computer?

    Thanks. Norton won't let me keep the executable.
    Probably due to lack of security signatures. I can use the app for now
    I can see the advantage however.
    For those who are able to do the cube3 file modifying process can probably do away with the back and forth with the cube3 app.
    I seem to have similar problems with those tools as well.

    A bit more info on BFB codes - this from the BFB Axon 2 User Manual (thanks to G70 and MegaloDon for pointing out the treasure trove of info!)
    Most of it is redundant, but there are some clues as to the meanings of the P and S values in some commands.
    Note, of course, this refers not to Cube 3 but to a different printer. However, my suspicion is that a lot of the bfb coding rules carried over.

    Raftlayers
    Thedefault raft generated in Axon consists of 2 layers at 0.7mm and1.0mm.
    MaterialTemperature Ranges:
    ABS:220 degC to 260 degC, the lower the temperature the less likely thelayers will stick. 260 degC is the default temp and anything hotterthan
    270degC could potentially damage the extruder head over time.
    PLA:180 degC to 220 degC, the lower the temperature the less likely thelayers will stick. 195 degC is the default temp.

    John, have you figured out what the "#vector" calls in the Cube3 files do?

    What is missing in the decoded cube3 files is the z-withdraw on certain moves (the "bounce").
    I don't see any z-value deviations that force this routine, so it must be handled in FW.

    I believe they are just another form of comment. It doesn't seem to matter if they aren't there.

    Does the Cube actually do a Z lift on non-extrusion moves?
    I don't think I've seen that occur when I watched at print level. It appeared to me that it just moved across at the current level, and if a blob was in the way it just got pushed aside. If it does 'bounce', I agree that it must be built into the firmware.

    It sure would be nice to have the firmware source - or at least a complete specification for the commands!

    Nope - I'm wrong. Watching some simple "move" tests without extruder on, it appears to dip before the move.
