    No, it's the "contact" (aka press switch) that Adam asks us to "glue" when performing the M6 mod. If not pressed correctly (aka nozzle not fully seated) then errors like this will popup.

    The old "Nozzle Installed - Good To Go" presence detection switch. I'll be damned.

    This has something to do with the chip being installed but not the nozzle.
    ...which also causes temp errors.

    Which means this switch determines if the temp sensor and heater are to active or inactive in firmware.
    Now I see how it determines to kill the "cooing" routine too.

    So i've taken apart practically the whole printer and hot end down to the heat block and fan, and never noticed the switch. Can anyone elaborate on the location of it?
    I must be the baby of the group (I'm 'only' 35).

    The small flag (nub) on the nozzle housing... as you twists the housing... this flag will trigger the little black switch at the locking end of the travel.
